Following the principle: done is better than perfect - I’d like to welcome you to my little corner of the internet 👋 (amazing how we’ve transitioned from capital letters to lowercase – such a linguistic indicator of global trends).

I couldn’t name my first post anything else. For the past few years, I’ve been professionally involved in programming, and I wanted to use this space as an opportunity to document (a programmer’s favorite thing) my progress. For those less tech-savvy – this is usually the first phrase that appears on a monitor screen when someone learning programming practices their first functions.

I’ll also treat this as a link repository. I’d like to declutter my browser’s favorites bar - just 1 687 links (and still growing). Hopefully, they’ll soon show up here in a more organized form as posts.

Additionally – do you know that feeling when you did something X years ago and now can’t remember how exactly you did it or what tool you used back then? I hope this blog will also serve as a remedy for that.

There will also be some travel posts 🧳 Maybe I’ll even manage to gather a few thoughts from past trips – we’ll see.

It’s funny to return to blogging because, long, long ago, I had a blog on Onet (a popular Polish blogging platform similar to early American platforms like LiveJournal). It’s nice to do it now with the perspective that this time the posts are stored on my own drive, and even if I stop hosting this site, I won’t lose them. Lesson learned 😅 😅
